What i want to learn

The best way to get started on the path to sharing your work is to think about what you want to learn, and make a commitment to learning it in front of others.

Share Your Work, Austin Kleon

Here is what I want to learn:

  1. How do we heal this world? How do we avert disaster? How do we catalyze the great awakening of consciousness that has been talked about for so long? How do we steer the great ship of civilization through the narrow straits we find ourselves moving through at the moment?
  2. How can I help?

That is always what I have wanted to know; the question I’ve been asking myself since about 1990, when I discovered that climate change was a really big deal, and could affect our future here on Earth.

Or perhaps since 1982, when I was in middle school and my mother began doing work for the Nuclear Freeze Movement.

At age 17 I happened to visit London on my own, and somehow ended up in the middle of the largest anti-nuclear demonstration in UK history (October 1983), invited by contingents pouring out of the Paddington train station arriving from Wales. It was vast.
